Planting Seeds: Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2012 Writing Project

"To see things in the seed, that is genius."
-Lao Tzu

The internet is such a blessing! Indeed we all are very lucky that in just a few keystrokes, we'd find what we need. This won't be possible though without its contributors who had exerted enough time and effort to share their talents, passion and knowledge.

Now, Influential Blogger, spearheaded by Janette Toral, came up with a writing project which aims to identify new and emerging blogs who are trying to make an impact on their readers. They're actually on their sixth (6) year now and Tof SalcedoPhilippine data centerPhilippine online shoppingManila Standard TodayDigitalFilipino Club, and Search Profile Index have already pledged their support.

I've done my part-- checked out the entries; and these blogs, I believe deserve the right to be heard:

  • For its passion for beauty, fashion and lifestyle; clearly screaming that fashion is for everyone, So Gelleesh is a must see.
  • Food is part of our physiological needs, so I have to make sure that at least one of those blogs is here. I like The Purple Doll as it has a really lovely interface-- clean, neat and everything's classified into categories.
  • With so many marriages ending in divorce right now, Maximizing Marriage thoughtfully shares its tips on how to build, maintain and retain a family.
  • The Urban Walker is very unique. It tackles all things concerning city life, and who's best to talk about that sort but someone who holds a degree on urban planning with specialization on transport planning.
  • Who says you have to go to a gallery to appreciate art? Pa Ul shares his gift of painting to the world by compiling all his creations in a virtual art gallery. I'm no artist, but this I know -the pieces are refreshing and a pleasure for the eyes.
  • This blogger loves to talk, but he sure does it with sense. Be Kind To Us Trolls is an outlet for expressing one's POVs, but is no ordinary as the blogger exerts extra effort in putting up his very own illustrations in his blog posts.
  • Speaking of talk, I for one have created my own lair where I could post anything I feel like posting. My mission is to post informative stuff -- mainly book reviews, movie reviews, tips, trivia as well as share my very own literary contributions. If you think you're interested in those, might as well visit The Talking Senses. You may also check out similar blogs like Oh, Beautiful Madness, Life After Breakfast and Toned Down & Vintage. These sites are very well-kept and the empowered ladies behind them obviously know what they are talking about.

Okay, that's it for me! Help spread the word and participate in this writing project. For info on how to join, click here.
